Welcome, Here's a little insight into who I am!
Hello, I'm Jean-Baptiste, Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer.
I turn raw data into actionable insights through a solid technical stack: Python, SQL, dbt, Power BI. My atypical background — 7 years at Royal Caribbean in Miami, a 6-month remote mission for a Japanese client, and intensive training at Jedha, gave me an essential dual perspective: I understand business challenges before building the technical solution.
Outside of work, I enjoy heading to the mountains on weekends or holidays — hiking, mountaineering, discovering new cultures and destinations. Activities that taught me the same things as data: rigor, preparation, and knowing when to adapt the plan.

My Journey
It all started as a self-taught learner, driven by curiosity for Python and automation. I quickly realized you could replace time-consuming manual processes with pipelines that run on their own. That curiosity led me to Jedha, where I worked on real-world cases: data cleaning, modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, visualization. I came out with an RNCP Level 6 certification and solid hands-on experience with the modern data stack.
Experience
My data experience was built on real cases, not just training. The most significant mission was a 6-month remote project for 360°, based in Yonezawa, Japan. A connection made during a trip, turned into a data mission: modernizing their traveler data collection and analysis strategy, building an automated Python pipeline and a self-service Streamlit dashboard, delivering 3 actionable buyer personas to guide the city's marketing campaigns.
Alongside that, I develop portfolio projects that reflect my technical interests: an airline data warehouse modeled with dbt, an automated ETL pipeline via GitHub Actions analyzing forecast reliability across 250+ cities, and an analytics pipeline on SQL Server built around hotel booking data.
At Jedha, as a Teaching Assistant, I have supported more than 50 learners since January 2025 on Python, SQL, dbt and Power BI: code review, debugging, sharing engineering best practices, guidance on real business cases. Explaining concepts to someone discovering data forces you to truly master them yourself.
