Hi, I’m Jean-Baptiste, a Data Analyst with 20 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. Leveraging this background, I combine business expertise with strong technical skills in Python, SQL, Power BI, and Dataiku to deliver insights that drive performance, optimize decision-making, and uncover growth opportunities.
In my free time, I love exploring nature, especially hiking in the mountains. Curious and self-driven, I seek to thrive in a dynamic environment where I can continue learning and delivering value.
My Journey
My data journey started through self-learning with platforms like Coursera, where I completed courses from Google and Meta. To deepen my expertise, I joined an intensive Data Analytics Bootcamp at Jedha, where I worked on real-world datasets, focusing on data cleaning, visualization, and machine learning. This hands-on experience sharpened my technical skills and strengthened my problem-solving mindset.
Teacher Assistant Experience
After graduating, I was invited to stay on as a Teacher Assistant at Jedha. In this role, I supported new cohorts by:
- Guiding workshops and coding sessions.
- Assisting with Python, SQL, and data visualization.
- Reviewing and giving feedback on student projects.
- Helping debug code and clarify complex concepts.
